CHI Extended Abstracts

Building on evidence that VR can produce inter-brain synchrony much as the real world does, this study asks how non-verbal cues shape it. It focuses on eye gaze, examining how the gaze directions exchanged between users in a collaborative virtual environment affect the synchrony between their brains. The aim is to understand how faithfully rendering a fundamental social signal like gaze influences neural coupling during VR interaction.
